Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StayToned ("the app", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using StayToned, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What StayToned provides
StayToned is a macro tracking app that helps you log meals using photos, descriptions, barcodes, and manual entry. AI-generated nutrition values are editable estimates and are not medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations.
Eligibility
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live and comply with applicable app store rules. If you use StayToned on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Accounts and your content
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
- You retain ownership of the meal photos, descriptions, and other content you submit. You grant us the rights needed to operate the service, including storing, processing, syncing, and displaying your content back to you.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content, or attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the service.
Free features and StayToned Pro
Most of StayToned is free. Photo and describe meal logging are part of StayToned Pro after your introductory app free week ends unless you have an active subscription. Barcode scanning, manual entry, and the rest of the app remain available without a Pro subscription.
StayToned Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable. Pricing, billing period, and any store-managed free trial are shown in the app before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your device account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel billing.
- Restore purchases from inside the app if you reinstall StayToned or switch devices, using the same store account you originally used to subscribe.
Health and nutrition disclaimer
StayToned does not provide medical advice. Nutrition estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate. Consult a qualified professional before making health decisions based on app data. Use optional health integrations only if you understand what data is shared.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Service changes and availability
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice, including AI providers, subscription offerings, or supported platforms. We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Disclaimer of warranties
StayToned is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of StayToned. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50.
Termination
You may stop using StayToned at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
